“Hey, I got you some flowers,” Henry offered the bouquet of flowers to Eileen who took them gladly and with a smile.
She took a moment to inhale the sweet scent, then gave them back to Henry. He nodded his head, and set the flowers down on the table next to her bed. Then he sat on one of the cushioned chairs next to Eileen’s bed.
“The doctor’s say I’ll be released tomorrow,” Eileen looked at Henry with a smile.
Henry smiled at the young woman. He couldn’t believe that she was still alive, and neither could the doctors. When Eileen had arrived at St. Jerome’s hospital just last night, she came in with an assortment of bruises, cuts, and a broken arm. The doctors weren’t sure if Eileen would survive through the night, and even if she did there was no telling how long it would take for her to return to normal. But, the very next morning the doctors were shocked to find Eileen not only awake, but actually setting up in bed. Her supervising doctor had checked her stats twice, obviously in a state of denial over her quick recovery.
Only Eileen and Henry really knew why this sudden recovery had happened, and while the two of them wanted to forget about it, they had to discuss what would happen after today.
“Eileen, I was thinking about the room,” Henry started.
“Do you really think we should move back?”
Henry leaned forward, elbows resting against his knees, and looked at the wall. He was obviously deep in thought about the question that had been asked.
“Henry?”
“Oh! Sorry, I was just thinking about what you said Eileen,” Henry answered.
“And?”
Henry thought for another moment before answering. “I don’t think we should stay in that place,”
Eileen nodded her head in agreement. After the nightmare that the two had suffered through they would be crazy to want to go back. “We’d have to get things packed, and tell Frank,” Eileen told Henry.
“For some reason I don’t think I’ll be packing anything from that room,” Henry answered with a smile, “You know what we should do? We should just leave, get as far away from this place as possible, and move somewhere where we won’t have to worry about any crazy cults,”
Eileen gave Henry a small smile, “I only have a few things to pack, and tomorrow after I pack them we can get out of here,”
“Sounds good,”
Henry stayed next to Eileen for the rest of the day, and most of the night. The two spent their time talking, and watching TV, but they never spoke again about the nightmare that had happened the night before. As of right now they had tomorrow to look forward to.

(I like how you mentioned her recovery, because I've wondered about that myself. In my mind it created some kind of alternate reality (or rather got back to reality from an alternate) where she wasn't so bad off when she was admitted either but I admit that doesn't make much sense.)
